These decedent Oreo truffles are perfect for any occasion! \u00a0It’s hard to beat homemade chocolates, especially when Oreos are involved.<\/p>\n

Start by adding Oreo cookies into your blender or food processor. My Ninja works perfect for this! Pulse until the cookies turn into a powder.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Set aside about a half-cup of the mixture – you will use this later to top the truffles with.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

To the crumbled cookies, mix in\u00a0the cream cheese and instant coffee. \u00a0I do this step in my Ninja, but by hand works as well – it just takes a while. Form balls that are about one inch in diameter and put in the freezer to harden.<\/p>\n

Melt your chocolate in either a double boiler or in the microwave, being careful not to overheat it.<\/p>\n

Make sure your cookie balls are cold – this helps ensure they don’t melt while you are covering them in chocolate.<\/p>\n

Dip the truffles, one at a time, in the melted chocolate and set\u00a0them\u00a0on wax paper. Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle the Oreo bits on top.<\/p>\n

I usually put them in the freezer for a few minutes to harden and then stack them in an air-tight container for storage in the refrigerator.<\/p>\n
