Start by combining all of the spices in a small bowl.<\/p>\n

I love this blackened seasoning, and use it all the time! \u00a0It goes great on both chicken and fish, so I make a large batch of it and keep it in a jar with the rest of my spices.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Sprinkle the chicken breasts with the blackened seasoning. \u00a0The seasoning can be very spicy, so you may want to lightly season your chicken breasts if you aren’t a fan of spicy food.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Heat oil over medium-high heat for a minute, and then add the chicken breasts. \u00a0Cook until your chicken is cooked thoroughly.<\/p>\n

While the chicken is cooking, make the avocado-lime sauce. \u00a0Mix a ripe avocado, sour cream, and lime juice. \u00a0You can stir it by hand, but I usually use my Ninja since it is quicker and makes it very creamy!<\/p>\n

If avocados aren’t in season or if you can’t find a ripe avocado, you can also make this by using prepackaged guacamole. Just mix a large scoop of guacamole with sour cream and lime. \u00a0Although I think a fresh avocado tastes best, I’ve done this many times when I wasn’t patient enough to wait for my avocado to ripen.<\/p>\n

Serve over rice seasoned with lime and cilantro and top with avocado-lime sauce.
